I worked for years at a few ad agencies in Chicagobefore going freelance with writer Tom Wolferman. In 1988, my family moved to Northern California,where I continued to freelance and work at a smallrecord company, MFSL. In 1998, I invented a toy calledthe BeamO Flying Hoop. We continue to make and sell the BeamO. But in this current economy, toy stores are not doing very well. So I’m back to doing some freelance work. I usually work by the project, quotes roughly based on $75 to $150/hour and $25 to $75/hour for production time.
