Hoe wordt een tradiitonele matcha thee gemaakt?
Matcha thee wordt traditioneel bereid door één bamboe matcha lepeltje Matcha poeder te mengen met een beetje water en er vervolgens een pasta van te maken met de whisk in een kom. Vervolgens giet je hier circa 60 ml warm water (75-80 graden) op. Geen kokend water, want dit zorgt voor een bittere smaak en dan gaat de antioxidantwerking verloren. Klop met een bamboe matcha whisk de Matcha met het water op in een kom tot er mooie schuimlaag ontstaat. Duw de whisk hierbij niet te hard op de bodem. Één Matcha thee is gelijk aan 5 kopjes gewone groene thee qua voedingswaarden en antioxidanten.

How to make a Matcha tea:

• Put 1 bamboo spoon (1/2 gram) of Matcha in a bowl
• Add 1 table spoon of water
• Matcha a smooth paste with the bamboo whisk
• Add 60 ml of 75-80 degrees Celcius water to the bowl
• Whisk it up for 20 sec. in a fast W-movement to get foam on top - do not touch the bottom too hard while whisking
• Tip: Make a Matcha Latte!
